Educational Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or any related course.

-Specialized training or certification in Radiopharmaceuticals, Radiation Safety, or Nuclear Medicine is a significant advantage.

-Familiarity with standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and regulations specific to radiopharmaceuticals like those by the PNRI (Philippine Nuclear Research Institute) or FDA.

Professional Experience

-At least 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical industry.

-Knowledge of sterile manufacturing processes and handling radioactive materials.

-Experience with validation and calibration of equipment used in the production of radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities

-Operate and maintain cyclotron equipment for the production of radioisotopes used in nuclear medicine.

-Perform quality control (QC) testing of radioisotopes and radiopharmaceuticals to meet regulatory and safety standards.

-Prepare, synthesize, and process radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.

-Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure consistent quality, yield, and purity of radioisotopes.

-Validate procedures and equipment to maintain compliance.

-Work with production, and regulatory affairs teams to ensure overall product quality and safety.

Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and improve existing processes.

-Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

-Capacity to work under high-pressure conditions and manage time effectively.

-Ability to work in environments where exposure to radiation is controlled but present, with - regular medical checks as mandated.
