Job Summary:
The Visa Officer is responsible for managing and processing visa applications for clients traveling to various destinations. This role involves ensuring all documentation is accurate, liaising with embassies and consulates, staying updated on visa regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the application process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in completing visa application forms and compiling required documentation.
- Review and verify accuracy of visa applications before submission.
- Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and visa centers for application tracking and updates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of visa requirements, embassy procedures, and travel advisories.
- Provide clients with guidance on visa categories, timelines, fees, and interview preparation.
- Handle inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding visa status and travel requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all visa applications and related correspondence.
- Follow up on pending applications and ensure timely delivery of approved visas.
- Support the travel operations team with passport renewals, travel insurance, and related services.
- Ensure all client information is handled confidentially and in compliance with data protection laws.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, International Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in visa processing or travel documentation.
- Strong knowledge of international visa procedures and travel regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and visa tracking software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Multilingual ability (especially English + another language) is an advantage.
