JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a ServiceNow Administrator for IT Service Management - ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have specific knowledge and will provide strategic and technical insight in designing and supporting ServiceNow while aligning to Service Management best practices. The role will perform day to day support and maintenance, work with the functional team to address defects and complete minor enhancements in ServiceNow for Albertsons companies.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works directly with IT Management to align ServiceNow within the IT organization strategy
  • General support, administration, and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated application for users, groups, notifications, locations, etc.
  • Work closely with ServiceNow functional team to build request items and tasks using workflows to manage processes from the customer to the fulfillment teams.
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow.
  • Performs system and integration testing with sample/live data with Support Services team
  • Facilitate roll out of new applications and modules in ServiceNow
  • Maintains and support ServiceNow operational functions
  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
  • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs
  • Coordinate application and platform upgrades
  • Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems
  • Uses scripting tools and Service Now functionality, create script to automate routine tasks being done in ServiceNow
  • Handle general updates and configuration changes/requests

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field or 3+ years of related experience
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification
  • 2+ years ServiceNow administration in an enterprise environment.
  • Must be technically savvy and able to work through technical issues independently
  • Familiar with Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
  • Experience with JavaScript.
  • Familiar with LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS
  • Demonstrated skills in data management, solving problems and able to work collaboratively within a team or independently.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours and provide on-call support
  • Must be a team player, self-starter and flexible to work with a variety of personalities and styles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working experience as an Administrator for ServiceNow
  • Prefer experience with XML, HTML, AngularJS, PowerShell
  • ITIL v4 Certification
