Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Development Assistant to support our commercial growth activities under a project-based contract. This role supports our early-stage operations in the Philippines, with the opportunity to transition into a regular full-time position once our local entity is fully established. You will work closely with a supervisor to assist with market research, client engagement preparation, and coordination activities focused on Japanese corporate accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and company research to identify prospective corporate partners
  • Support client engagement efforts through professional email correspondence, scheduled calls, and business networking platforms
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and activities in our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Assist with the implementation of business development initiatives and the preparation of internal status reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or at least one (1) year of relevant experience in sales support, business development, customer relations, or a similar role
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills; basic Japanese language proficiency is required
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Willing to work onsite in Makati
