Business Development Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Development Officer serves as a key driver of HR Primo's growth. This role leads in identifying potential clients, building strategic partnerships, and closing impactful deals that expand the reach of HR Primo's services across various industries.
We're seeking a proactive and results-oriented professional who thrives in connecting with people and transforming opportunities into lasting business relationships. The ideal candidate is confident, resourceful, and takes initiative — someone who doesn't wait for opportunities to come, but actively creates them.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead Generation & Market Development
- Research and identify potential clients through business directories, LinkedIn, referrals, and professional networks.
- Conduct market mapping and field visits to uncover business opportunities within target areas and industries.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospects with consistent follow-ups and updated records.
2. Client Acquisition & Sales Execution
- Schedule and conduct meetings with business owners and executives to assess HR needs and present HR Primo's tailored solutions.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, pricing, and service agreements aligned with client requirements and company goals.
- Close new accounts while ensuring seamless handover to the Operations and Recruitment teams for service fulfillment.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition targets.
3. Relationship Management & Client Retention
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients through regular engagement and professional servicing.
- Act as the primary contact for client concerns, providing timely support and coordination with internal teams.
- Identify opportunities for renewal, referrals, or additional service engagements.
4. Reporting & Strategic Insights
- Track and analyze performance metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline health to measure progress.
- Submit weekly and monthly business development reports with key insights and recommendations.
- Provide input on market trends and competitor activities to refine strategies.
5. Representation & Brand Visibility
- Represent HR Primo in meetings, business expos, and networking events to enhance brand recognition.
- Promote HR Primo as a trusted HR and business solutions partner across various industries.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or any related field.
- At least 2-3 year of experience in B2B sales, business development, or client acquisition
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Confident in engaging with executives, HR leaders, and business owners.
- Proactive, organized, and highly motivated to meet goals and deliver measurable results.
- Willing to conduct fieldwork and client visits within Metro Manila and nearby areas.
- Driven by growth, integrity, and performance-based success.
