About the role

Reporting into the Business Development team at SAMSUNG C&T PHILIPPINES, CORP.', this full-time position as a Business Development Officer (With Power & Renewable Energy Background) plays a crucial role in driving new business opportunities for the company. Based in the vibrant Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will leverage your expertise in the power and energy industry to identify and secure new clients and projects that align with the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively research and identify potential new clients and projects in the power and renewable energy sector
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry contacts and decision-makers
  3. Prepare compelling proposals and pitch presentations to win new business
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery
  5. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
  6. Provide regular reports on pipeline, forecasts and performance metrics

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years' experience in new business development, preferably within the power and energy industry
  2. Strong understanding of the power and energy sector, including key players, technologies and industry dynamics
  3. Proven track record of successfully securing new clients and projects
  4. Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  6. Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business or a related field
