We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Development Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in translating business and marketing needs into actionable development work. This role ensures our developers start with clear, complete requirements, streamlines backlog management, and maintains strong alignment between stakeholders. You will act as the bridge between business, marketing, and development, ensuring our projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with strategic objectives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into developer-ready requirements by converting high-level objectives into precise PBIs with clear acceptance criteria, reducing ambiguity and rework.
  • Improve development efficiency by ensuring requirements are complete, validated, and ready before development begins, minimizing delays from scope gaps or unclear priorities.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog to keep work organized, aligned with business goals, and focused on the highest-value deliverables.
  • Facilitate clear stakeholder communication by serving as the primary liaison between business, marketing, and development teams, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and scope changes.
  • Reduce the risk of misalignment by continuously validating requirements and confirming deliverables meet business expectations prior to release.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software or web development environments.
  • Proven experience creating user stories, PBIs, and acceptance criteria in development environment.
  • Strong understanding of web development processes, terminology, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain alignment with business goals.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and how they impact development requirements.
