HIRING: FINANCE/ACCOUNTING MANAGER

LOCATION: MAKATI CITY

The Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with government regulations, and timely submission of statutory requirements. This role also involves managing payroll, tax filings, financial analysis, and coordination with internal departments for financial planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations:

  • Supervise daily accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial records.
  • Review and approve journal vouchers (JV), payment vouchers (PV), and check vouchers (CV).
  • Make journal entries in the GLS system for payroll, government remittances, and sales.

Payroll and Government Remittances:

  • Prepare employee payroll and print payslips.
  • Submit contributions and loan payments to SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG electronically.
  • Compute and process 13th month pay.

Tax Compliance and Reporting:

  • Prepare and file BIR tax returns electronically:
  • 1601-C, 1604-C, 0619-E, 1601EQ, 1604E, 2550M/Q, 1702-Q/RT, 2316
  • Submit VAT Relief, Alphalist, Inventory List, Books of Accounts, GIS, and AFS.
  • Maintain folders and soft copies of all BIR-related documents and deadlines.

Business Permits and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Monitor and schedule payments for business permits.
  • Ensure timely submission of SEC documents and other regulatory requirements.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide financial status reports and financial statements.
  • Prepare COGS based on product inventory from the regulatory department.
  • Assist with tax audits and resolve discrepancies in financial entries.
  • Prepare final sales reports, reconcile tie-up rebates, and coordinate with Marketing and Sales departments.
  • Reconcile ODI sales reports and prepare attachments for SI & NSIDR.
  • Validate rebates and reconcile sales incentives based on performance metrics.
  • Check collection receipts against deposit slips.

Documentation and File Management:

  • Maintain organized hard and soft copies of all accounting, payroll, tax, and government remittance files.
  • Ensure proper turnover and documentation of files and reports.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support the finance and accounting functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and government remittances.
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
