We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Finance, Accounting, & Contract Review Contractor to provide short-term support to our Finance and Accounting function. The role will primarily focus on reviewing a large volume of commercial contracts and building a structured database in Excel to support integration with NetSuite. The ideal candidate will have strong finance/accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to interpret complex legal and commercial agreements.

Engagement Details

• Title: Finance, Accounting & Contract Review Contractor

• Function: Finance and Accounting

• Reporting: Finance Manager

• Contract Term: 3 months, with potential extension

• Hours: Full-time preferred, but flexible arrangements considered

• Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience

What you'll do

• Review and analyze hundreds of customer and vendor contracts, extracting key financial and operational terms (e.g., payment terms, renewal clauses, pricing, termination provisions).

• Build and maintain a structured contract database in Excel to support downstream use within NetSuite.

• Support the Finance and Accounting team with short-term projects including reconciliations, reporting, and process documentation.

• Ensure contract data is accurately captured, standardized, and usable for reporting and compliance.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, and Operations) to clarify terms and resolve ambiguities.

• Provide ad hoc support on finance and accounting tasks as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, contract review, or related roles.

• Strong working knowledge of accounting concepts and financial processes.

• Proven experience reviewing complex commercial contracts and extracting key terms.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis).

• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.

• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred.

• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle high-volume work efficiently
