As PopAI expands globally, we are strengthening our finance and operational capabilities to ensure accuracy, transparency, and governance across all entities. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead multi-entity finance operations, accounting, reporting, and M&A support — ensuring the company's financial systems and processes are robust, scalable, and aligned with strategic objectives.

You'll manage a distributed finance team, work closely with auditors and external regulators, and partner with business unit heads to align operational performance with financial goals.

What You'll Do

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Lead daily finance and accounting operations across entities; ensure accurate general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Own month-end and year-end closing calendars; deliver timely and accurate consolidated reports.
• Approve invoices, reimbursements, and other financial transactions in accordance with internal controls and policies.
• Oversee statutory and management reporting; prepare variance analyses and business insights for leadership.

Compliance, Audit & Controls

• Implement and enforce internal controls to comply with BIR, SEC, and audit requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and government agencies during audits and inspections.
• Maintain documentation standards across all accounting and tax processes.

M&A Support & Integration

• Conduct financial due diligence and assist in valuation analysis for target entities.
• Lead post-acquisition integration from financial consolidation to system alignment.
• Track post-deal performance, synergies, and deliverables.

People Leadership & Process Improvement

• Mentor and manage a team of accountants and bookkeepers across entities.
• Allocate workload effectively to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Recommend and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and Executive teams to align on budgets and financial objectives.

What You've Done

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit, including prior work with an external audit firm.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience in month-end/year-end closing and financial analysis.
• Prior leadership experience in managing accounting teams or shared service environments.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and local tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High integrity and commitment to maintaining financial transparency and governance.
• Must be amenable to a hybrid work setup (onsite in Baguio + work-from-home).
