Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to manage clients' full-cycle accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with QuickBooks Online and a strong background in general accounting, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.


Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: Php 79,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 9 AM – 6 PM California Time

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note:

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including posting, payments, and invoice entries.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage tax-related entries and reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Oversee payroll entries and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation and related expenses.
  • Pull and analyze information from accounting trees to support financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Maintain and organize accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support management with ad hoc financial reports and data analysis.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper, preferably in a full accounting role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial processes.
  • Experience with payroll processing, reconciliations, and tax entries.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting or working in a holding company structure is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting trees and financial reporting structures.
