Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual finance reports for management and donors.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data.
  • Assist in budget monitoring and variance analysis.

PRF & Payment Processing

  • Review and process Purchase Request Forms (PRFs) in line with procurement and finance policies.
  • Process payments through checks, online banking, and other approved platforms.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of all payment transactions.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure adherence to NGO financial policies, donor guidelines, and statutory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Safeguard financial records and maintain confidentiality.

Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with program staff to clarify financial requirements.
  • Provide support in preparing donor financial reports.
  • Assist in improving financial systems and processes.

Competencies & Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and NGO finance practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Integrity, transparency, and accountability in handling funds.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an NGO setting.
  • Experience in financial reporting, PRF processing, and payment platforms.
  • Familiarity with donor compliance and audit requirements is an advantage.
