As a FINANCE ASSOCIATE MANAGER, you will be responsible for handling the following:

  1. Strategic Management and Direction

  2. Assists in the cascading and communication of all finance and accounting-related strategies and initiatives of the Finance Department.

  3. Application of Skills and Capabilities

  4. Prepares and submits financial reports and documentation (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and yearly) to the Senior Finance Manager/Finance Department Manager.

  5. Financial Statement
  6. Balance Sheet
  7. Aging Accounts Report
  8. Statement of Cash Flows
  9. Income Statement
  10. Monthly Sales Report – Manual and POS generated
  11. Government reports such as VAT returns, Tax Refund and other statutory/mandatory reports required by the Management.
  12. Monitors, reviews and audits the Schedules, Records and Processing of Payables, Petty Cash, Purchase Orders and Sales Invoice of the Company as well as Statement of Account.
  13. Prepares the Monthly Operations Statistics. Prepares financial reports or data needed by the General Manager.
  14. Performs bookkeeping and recording of daily transactions in his/her mall assignment.
  15. Evaluates and analyzes financial data and reports to identify causes of accounting and finance related problems and develops sound recommendations for improvement of policies and processes.
  16. Performs other management-mandated functions.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, CPA.
  • Minimum of three (3) years extensive work experience in Accounting or Financial Management preferably in retail and property management industries.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications specifically MS Word, Powerpoint, MS Excel and MS Visio as well as other specialized software like SAP or Oracle.
  • Above Average proficiency level in oral and written communication skills including negotiation, presentation, facilitation and training all levels of the organization.
  • Deals with complex problems and tasks wherein decisions or tasks are planned, delegated, coordinated or implemented or any combination of these.
  • With average proficiency level in people management and leadership.
  • With strategic, result/data driven, process orientation and risk-based approach mindset.
