About the role

The Power Plant Supervisor is responsible for supervising the operation, maintenance, and repair of the boiler systems within the power plant. Ensures that all equipment's are functioning safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. Supervise manpower, manages workflow, and oversees emergency response procedures.

Description of work:

  1. Schedule and assign workers daily tasks and monitor progress.
  2. Provide guidance to staff on safe and efficient operation of boilers and steam turbine.
  3. Oversee the operation of boilers and turbine, ensuring they are running within specified parameters.
  4. Coordinate to maintenance department for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of boilers and related equipment.
  5. Implement corrective actions if needed.
  6. Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  7. Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
  8. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and compliance activities.
  9. Generate reports on performance, efficiency, and incidents if there is.
  10. Provide regular updates and reports to Department Head.
  11. Abide Company's Code of Conduct and Safety Programs.
  12. Performs other related task as may be assigned from time to time.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a power plant supervision role.
  • Thorough understanding of power generation equipment, operations, and maintenance procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to quickly address operational issues
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of technicians
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
