Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field;
  • Must be a Bar Passer;
  • At least 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, permits, and licensing within the energy or utilities sector;
  • Strong knowledge of DOE, ERC, BOI regulations, laws, and compliance requirements;
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills in dealing with government agencies and internal/external stakeholders;
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple regulatory requirements simultaneously.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Secure timely and accurate filing of power regulatory permits and licenses for new renewable energy projects with DOE, ERC, and BOI;
  • Manage renewals and amendments of permits and licenses for operating plants to cover expansions or compliance updates;
  • Oversee and ensure timely submission of all reportorial compliances required by DOE, ERC, and BOI;
  • Monitor regulatory developments and provide guidance to ensure compliance with updated rules, regulations, and policies;
  • Coordinate with internal project teams and government agencies to ensure seamless processing of regulatory requirements.
