About the role
Filipinas Palmoil Plantations Inc. is seeking an experienced Mill Upkeep professional to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of our palm oil mill operations, ensuring a seamless production process and contributing to the overall success of our business.
What you'll be doing
- Sweep, mop, and clean floors, walkways, and platforms in all mill and powerhouse areas.
- Clean drains, pits, and ducts to prevent clogging or water accumulation.
- Properly collect and dispose of solid waste and scrap materials.
- Support maintenance crews during equipment shutdowns and inspections.
- Assist in power plant sanitation tasks (ash removal, duct cleaning. etc.)
- Participate in major plant clean-ups and pre-commissioning activities.
- Assist in cleaning fuel storage areas following safety protocols.
- Support maintenance and production departments as needed during emergency or shutdown conditions.
- Participate in safety briefings and toolbox meetings.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
What we're looking for
- At least a High School graduate
- Knowledge of safe work practices and cleaning procedures.
- Physically fit to perform manual work in high-temperature or confined environments.
- Able to work shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve operational goals
