Job Summary:
The Recorder – Fresh is responsible for accurately recording data during the receiving, processing, and freezing of tuna products. This role ensures proper documentation of shipment, traceability, inventory, and production activities in compliance with company standards and food safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately record details during the receiving of fresh tuna, including weight, supplier, and condition of delivery.
- Monitor and document the shipment and dispatch process of tuna products.
- Perform regular inventory checks and recording of packaging materials used for fresh production.
- Encode and submit daily production reports related to fresh operations.
- Support the traceability system by recording data during the frozen refining process, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of records.
- Maintain organized and updated logs, ensuring records are readily available for audit and review.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards set by the company.
Qualifications:
- At least a high school graduate or vocational diploma; a college background in Food Technology, Fisheries, or a related field is an advantage.
- Experience in seafood production or a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Excel, Word).
- Good attention to detail, record-keeping, and organizational skills.
- Willing to work in a cold storage and production environment.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and perform tasks under pressure.
