Location: Santo Tomas, Batangas, Philippines

Rieckermann Philippines is seeking an experienced and driven Construction Manager to lead the execution of industrial facility projects in Santo Tomas, Batangas. This position is critical in ensuring our on-site project delivery meets the highest standards of safety, quality, time, and budget performance.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in managing both brownfield and greenfield construction of industrial plants, particularly within sectors such as chemicals, food processing, or industrial manufacturing. We are looking for a strong leader with excellent people management skills who can motivate site teams and coordinate effectively with all stakeholders. Experience in managing complex construction projects is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities – Construction Manager

  • Lead and manage day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.
  • Represent Rieckermann as the primary site interface with the client, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Develop construction execution plans and site logistics aligned with overall project goals and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate all construction disciplines and subcontractors to ensure smooth integration and handover.
  • Supervise site personnel and enforce project standards on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Proactively manage construction risks, resolve issues on-site, and report progress and deviations to the Project Director.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of construction progress, site instructions, and scope changes.
  • Champion Rieckermann's safety culture by conducting safety briefings, inspections, and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Support project commissioning and site closure activities as required.
  • Take initiative to drive improvements and maintain high morale across the site team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience managing industrial construction projects, with a strong track record in brownfield and greenfield developments.
  • Experience in complex or large-scale projects is a strong advantage.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction practices, HSE standards, project controls, and progress reporting.
  • Ability to lead site teams independently and proactively resolve issues.
  • Experience working with multinational clients or EPCM firms is desirable.
  • Proficient in English and Filipino; local dialect fluency is a plus.
  • Willing to be based full-time on-site in Zamboanga City.
  • Available immediately or on short notice preferred.
