Purchasing Associate

Job Summary:

The Purchasing Associate supports the procurement team in sourcing, ordering, and managing the supply of construction materials, tools, and equipment. This role ensures that all purchases are made efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company standards and supplier agreements. The Purchasing Associate helps maintain adequate stock levels to support ongoing projects and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Purchasing & Sourcing Support

• Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations for construction supplies such as cement, steel, tiles, electrical items, plumbing fixtures, safety gear, and hardware tools.
• Prepare and process purchase requests and purchase orders (POs) accurately.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and documentation.
• Monitor order status to ensure timely delivery of goods.

2. Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with warehouse, sales, and project teams to determine material requirements.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve any purchasing or delivery issues.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining positive relationships.

3. Documentation & Record-Keeping

• Maintain and update supplier information, price lists, and product catalogs.
• File and organize all purchasing documents, such as POs, quotations, and delivery receipts.
• Ensure all purchasing transactions comply with company policies and audit requirements.

4. Inventory & Reporting

• Monitor stock levels and assist in preparing replenishment plans.
• Coordinate with the warehouse to verify receipt and quality of delivered materials.
• Generate simple purchasing and inventory reports for management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php12, Php14,000.00 per month
