The Merchandiser is responsible for managing product presentation, stock levels, and sales performance of construction materials and supplies across stores, warehouses, and client accounts. This role ensures that all construction products—such as cement, steel, tiles, electricals, plumbing, tools, and safety equipment—are properly displayed, priced, and promoted to maximize sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:1. Product Merchandising & Display

  • Plan and implement effective product displays for construction materials and tools to attract customers and increase sales.
  • Ensure products are arranged logically and safely in stores or depots, considering weight, size, and accessibility.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and labeling of product areas.
  • Update shelf tags, price boards, and promotional signage regularly.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and product movement to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Liaise with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely restocking.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with audits.

3. Sales & Promotion Support

  • Coordinate with the sales team to plan and execute in-store promotions, trade events, and product demonstrations.
  • Track and report the performance of promotional campaigns and merchandising activities.
  • Provide feedback on fast-moving and slow-moving items to guide purchasing decisions.

4. Vendor & Supplier Coordination

  • Work with suppliers to obtain display materials, samples, and product information.
  • Ensure compliance with supplier display agreements and promotional guidelines.

5. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor competitor pricing, display strategies, and new product introductions.
  • Provide market insights to the management team to support pricing and promotional strategies.

6. Customer Service & Relationship Building

  • Support retail and trade customers with product information and availability.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet client requirements and project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php12, Php15,000.00 per month
