Job Summary:

The Warehouse Team Leader oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring that all construction materials, tools, and supplies are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This role leads a team of warehouse staff, promotes safety and productivity, and ensures that all warehouse activities support the company's operational goals and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:1. Warehouse Operations Supervision

  • Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials.
  • Ensure accurate handling and documentation of construction supplies such as cement, steel, lumber, tiles, electrical, and plumbing materials.
  • Assign tasks to warehouse personnel and monitor their performance to meet productivity targets.
  • Oversee proper loading and unloading of materials to prevent damage and ensure safety compliance.

2. Inventory and Stock Management

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are stored in designated areas following inventory procedures.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and support periodic inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing and logistics departments on stock replenishment and dispatch schedules.
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged items promptly.

3. Team Leadership and Coordination

  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Foster teamwork, discipline, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Conduct daily briefings to communicate work plans, priorities, and safety reminders.
  • Recommend staff performance evaluations and assist in onboarding new employees.

4. Health, Safety, and Housekeeping

  • Enforce adherence to workplace safety rules and proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the warehouse and yard.
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Report any incidents, near-misses, or equipment issues to management.

5. Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare daily warehouse activity reports including receipts, dispatches, and stock movement.
  • Ensure accurate completion and filing of all warehouse documents such as delivery receipts, gate passes, and inventory records.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor on operational challenges and improvement initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php13, Php15,000.00 per month
