Rieckermann Philippines is seeking an experienced and driven Project Control Specialist Project Control Specialist to manage all aspects of cost, schedule, and change control for a major capital construction project based at the site in Santo Tomas, Batangas. This role is essential for minimizing project deviations and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in managing both brownfield and greenfield construction of industrial plants, particularly within sectors such as chemicals, food processing, or industrial manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities – Construction Safety Specialist
  • Cost & Budget Management: Establish the cost baseline, track all project expenditures, manage the budget using preferred software (e.g., Cleopatra, SAP PS), and validate contractor payments in coordination with the accounting department.
  • Schedule Planning & Control: Develop, manage, and maintain the integrated project schedule (using Primavera P6 or MS Project). Conduct critical path analysis, track progress, measure productivity, and generate regular progress reports.
  • Proactive Control & Forecasting: Conduct regular field assessments to physically progress the work (% complete). Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) to analyze real-time deviations and calculate accurate cost and schedule forecasts (ETC/EAC).
  • Change & Risk Management: Lead the Management of Change (MOC) process by quantifying the cost and schedule impact of all change requests. Monitor risk factors, track change logs, and assist the Project Manager in initiating corrective actions.
  • System Integration & Support: Ensure proper project scope breakdown (WBS), resource loading, and compliance with all specifications and procurement plans. Collect and archive historical data and lessons learned for future projects.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 5+ years of integrated Project Control experience (Cost & Schedule) on complex, MNC-level build/construction projects.
  • Highly proficient with project control systems and software, including Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Strong practical knowledge of project control best practices, including Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Strong communication, time management, and influencing skills; proven ability to partner with cross-functional site teams and manage conflict effectively.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% or temporarily relocate to a project site as required.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Willing to be based full-time on-site in Batangas.
  • Available immediately or on short notice preferred.
