Partners with the leadership team to effectively support its objectives through an appropriate and practical application of HR directions, a people strategy, systems, and policies in areas such as but not limited to the following:
Hiring and Selection
- Talent Engagement
- Talent Management (Leadership development)
- Labor Relations
- Compensation and Benefits
- Organizational Design
Business Continuity planning
Design/develop a people strategy that supports and powers the organization's business strategies.
- Guides the management team in creating the overall unit strategy to achieve their targets.
- Develop a strategic talent selection and development process, succession planning, ensuring alignment with the business directions, the organization's talent needs, and people development principles.
Provides facilitation and consultancy services to all departments during review and management of performance results.
Oversees the strategic planning and implementation of the learning and development programs to ensure the desired level of competency and potential are achieved.
- Ensures correct and consistent application of workplace policies, legislation, and regulations in the entire business unit.
- Ensure that the company is compliant with all DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) regulations.
- Audits store compliance to labor standards and recommends the actions to take to address gaps, if there are any, resulting to positive labor relations
- Prepare and submit necessary reports, permits, and other requirements as mandated by law.
- Review 3P contract, coordinate with 3P vendor to address concerns, needs, etc.
- Provides facilitation and consultancy services to the business unit on compensation and benefits concerns.
- Coaches department/unit heads on an integrated and structured approach to leading change initiatives.
- Advises department/unit heads systematically when transitioning individuals or teams into strategic or management positions.
- Ensures alignment of the team in its application of HR systems, policies, and procedures to accounts and triggers alignment with other HR units when deemed necessary.
- Conducts Store Visits in Manila and Kalibo.
