GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the submission of

1) accurate, complete and timely financial statements (Monthly and Annual);

2) Valid obligations are paid on time;

3) All revenues and receivables are duly accounted and recognized;

4) Assets are booked at correct value;

5) All costs are booked correctly;

6) Inventory movements are accounted and reported and 7) All required Ad Hoc reports are provided.

STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT:

1) Participate in the formulation of corporate goals, objectives, strategies and budgets.

2) Set Accounting Key Performance Indexes/Balance Scorecards.

3) Formulate and implement Accounting Policies and Procedures

4) Institute Accounting Process and controls.

5) Set Accounting Department budget and cost controls and always monitor compliance.

6) Attend and actively participate in management meetings.

ACCOUNTING MANAGEMENT:

1) Prepares financial statements and supporting schedules, and present to top management.

2) Makes analysis and interpretation of the financial statements and release reports to top

management.

3) Makes business review and provide requested analyses and ad-hoc reports to top

management.

4) Oversees management of day-to-day operations of functional sections in Accounting Dept.

5) Reviews and approve documents; payable/check vouchers, journal vouchers, statement of accounts, government forms and others.

6) Reviews and approve all accounting and finance reports before releasing to recipients on time.

7) Deals with and provide requirements, if deemed appropriate.

8) Reviews requests thoroughly for payment of taxes recommended by staff.

ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT:

1) Monitors attendance of all staffs and counsels those with problems on compliance to attendance policy.

2) Orients staffs of Company Code of Discipline, monitors compliance and address violations

3) Check accomplishments of staffs to periodically appraise performances based on set metrics.

4) Determines and provides training and learning needs of staffs

5) Performs other related tasks assigned by the Top Management from time to time

Job Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Finance and Accounting Manager

• Skills with accounting software (i.e., Oracle Netsuite, Quickbooks, etc.)

• Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)

• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping, auditing and accounting principles, laws and regulations

• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Team management skills

• Ability to prioritize work

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service

• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

• BS degree in Accountancy, must be CPA, CIA, male or female, with MBA or other relevant post graduate degree an advantage.
