Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and guide our company toward long-term financial success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role plays a key part in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, cash receipts, accounts receivable, online banking activities, and payroll processing, ensuring all are accurately recorded.

  • Prepare accurate and timely month-end and journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations (net assets, investments, revenues, expenses and payroll allocations, ensuring all accounting schedules are current and correct.

  • Ensure appropriate recognition of revenue and expenses in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

  • Monitor company cash flow and bank balances regularly, and conduct cash flow forecasting to support financial planning

  • Review income flow and prepare detailed income and expense statements for internal analysis

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure proper bookkeeping practices are followed.

  • Receive, review and verify all incoming bills and invoices for accuracy and compliance

  • Ensure consistent customer communication regarding outstanding payments and income follow-up; prepare and manage invoice documentation

  • Ensure month-end close activities are completed accurately and on time, including updating all necessary financial schedules

  • Maintain regular communication with the Director of Finance regarding financial matters and reporting requirements

  • Manage employee and administrative reimbursement processes, including verification, documentation and approvals

  • Generate accounts payable reports and other financial reports as needed by management

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documents and compliance with relevant tax regulations

  • Review and prepare finance reports and tax reports to ensure accuracy

  • Provide assistance to the Finance Assistant in the preparation of financial and management reports

  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Director and / or CEO

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial management roles

  • Proven experience with general ledger functions, financial reporting, and month-end and year-end close processes

  • Experience working with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations and compliance procedures

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, proficient in financial software

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good organizational and time management abilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential information

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Willing to work in BGC, Taguig City
