Additional Qualifications/Competencies: Must possess strong coordination, monitoring, and communication skills; ability to draft reports, agreements, and presentation materials; knowledge of international cooperation and linkages; and competence in organizing meetings, workshops, and related activities

III. JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Assist in coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating linkages and scientific and technological exchange missions under existing agreements and work plans with established international partners;

  2. Assist in monitoring and evaluating bilateral, multilateral, and institutional linkages and cooperation;

  3. Assist in drafting agreements/guidelines/frameworks to initiate and intensify/sustain links and cooperation with foreign partners;

  4. Assist in preparing reports on international collaboration and resource generation for submission to DOST, DFA, other agencies, and other PCAARRD units/divisions;

  5. Prepare materials needed in various activities of the division particularly reports/presentation materials for international gatherings/meetings, messages, and communications with other agencies;

  6. Assist in coordinating and monitoring utilization of the PCAARRD Foreign Travel Fund (PFTF);

  7. Prepare announcements on international activities/awards, and vacant positions for dissemination to the PCAARRD Consortia/Network and calls for nominations/endorsements for international capability-building activities;

  8. Assist in the coordination and conduct of international seminars, workshops, and training programs of the Division;

  9. Participate in various committees, and technical working groups (TWGs) and relevant capability-building activities; and

  10. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
