Additional qualification/competencies: Graduate of Bachelor of science in Forestry (BSF), forestry licensed professional is an advantage, with expertise in industrial tree plantation (ITP); has strong background in R&D program/project formulation, monitoring and evaluation with skills in financial tracking and assessment; with established active linkages with the Industrial Tree Plantation (ITP) industry stakeholders and R&D collaborators is an advantage.

III. JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Assists in the formulation, packaging, monitoring, and evaluation of forestry and environment R&D programs/projects;

  2. Assists in the drafting of AANR plane by ensuring alignment with HNRDA and ISP roadmaps to arrive at F&E sectoral S&T packaged proposals;

  3. Conducts technical and financial monitoring and evaluation of ITP programs and projects;

  4. Assists in the conceptualization and conduct of conferences, seminars, meeting/workshops related to ITP ISP;

  5. Participates as member of various DOST PCAARRD and external and local committees/TWG; and

  6. Perform other taste that may be required from time to time.
