About the role

Tapa King Inc., a leading provider of Filipino cuisine, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Supervisor to join our team in our Pasig City, Metro Manila location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and development of our restaurant staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and implementing comprehensive training programmes for new and existing employees, covering areas such as food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures
  • Conducting regular training sessions and workshops to upskill and motivate our restaurant teams
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programmes, and making improvements as needed
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to employees, helping them to develop their skills and advance their careers
  • Collaborating with the management team to identify training needs and align training initiatives with the company's overall strategic objectives
  • Maintaining training records and documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a training or development professional, preferably within the food and beverage industry
  • Strong understanding of training and development principles, with the ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programmes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with employees at all levels
  • Proven track record of identifying training needs and implementing solutions that drive employee performance and customer satisfaction
  • Proficient in using training management software and other relevant tools to support the training process
  • Passionate about employee development and committed to helping our teams reach their full potential
