Overview

We are seeking a Mid to Senior QA Engineer/Tester to drive both manual and automated testing across a high-visibility product initiative. The role requires strong technical capability, a deep understanding of test design and automation strategies, and the ability to work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure delivery quality at every stage of the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and integration layers.
  • Develop and optimize reusable automation frameworks aligned with project standards.
  • Implement robust test design strategies including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Automate API test scenarios and ensure coverage across all core services.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure stable, reliable runs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and maintain traceability.
  • Document test plans, test cases, automation coverage, and defect reports with accuracy.
  • Identify root causes, validate fixes, and ensure high-quality release readiness.
  • Maintain version-controlled test assets and follow structured branching practices.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

  • Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework or tool (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, PyTest, JUnit, etc.).
  • Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, or TypeScript.
  • Proven experience automating API tests using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of test automation strategies, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience building or maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
  • Strong experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Solid analytical capability and attention to detail with a strong quality-first mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to performance testing tools.
  • Experience in Agile environments and participation in sprint ceremonies.
  • Background in testing microservices or distributed systems.
