Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in automated testing for web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate can design robust automation frameworks, ensure coverage across complex workflows, and support high-quality releases for multiple platforms. This role operates on an AU timezone / dayshift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automated testing strategies for three web portals and multiple APIs.
  • Design and implement test frameworks for data-driven forms and complex user interactions.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites for API integrations, batch file uploads, and SFTP processes.
  • Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Perform regression testing and validate system functionality against requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure quality, consistency, and testability.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed test documentation and reports.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in automation tools, scripting languages, and testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience testing web apps, APIs, batch processes, and SFTP workflows.
  • Solid understanding of regression testing, SDLC, and test design best practices.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with an AU-based development team.
