Position Overview:

The Automation Lead – QA Engineering, will work closely with the Developer Team to ensure that all applications, systems, and software deliverables meet the required quality standards. The role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues and improve the overall user experience and to improve the process and automation coverage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers to understand system requirements, features, and design specifications.
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases (manual and/or automated).
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using standard tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Validate bug fixes and ensure software stability before release.
  • Provide feedback on usability, performance, and reliability from the end-user perspective.
  • Work with the development team to maintain and improve testing frameworks and best practices.
  • Participate in sprint planning and review meetings as part of the Agile development process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Software Automation Tester, QA Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • At least four years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience in documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, continuous integration & deployment.
  • Experience in Agile development.
  • Expertise in modern JS, Typescript, HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Expertise in using js libraries like ReactJS, VueJS and AngularJS. Preferably ReactJS.
  • Understanding of build tools, particularly Webpack and Babel.
  • Expert knowledge of web standards and cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Experience using test frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, Mocha, Chai, etc.
  • UI/UX design experience, working alongside a graphic designer.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail. An eye for layout aesthetics.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with source control (git).
  • Experience with mobile-first approach, and responsive design.
  • Even better if you have experience
  • Experience using NodeJS, ExpressJS, MySQL, NoSQL, Docker.
  • Knowledge in using AWS.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman).
  • Familiarity with API and performance testing.
  • Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php100,000.00 per month
