Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated QA Engineer (Philippines) to join our AI Product group. You will conform to high standards of design and coding, working in a cutting-edge, dynamic and professionally challenging environment.

This role involves ensuring software quality through thorough testing and issue identification, with a willingness to learn automation skills.

You will work closely with testers, developers, and project managers to identify and resolve defects, contributing to the overall stability and performance of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Validation of the integration points between AI components and business logic, identifying risks and ensuring seamless operation.
• Keep up with the latest AI tech and how to best apply the latest advancements to make the previously impossible possible for our customers.
• Perform manual testing on new technologies
• Identify and resolve simple quality process issues with little to no supervision and guidance
• Write tests scenarios and run them during the testing process
• Identify bugs and report it according to bug template with sufficient detail so that developers can investigate further
• Report status to cross-functional teams
• Execute on defined tasks according to guidelines and contribute to solving problems with defined solutions
• Provide support with the team proactively
• Establish and monitor key quality metrics aligned with the business goals, including turnaround time, confidence scores, and user corrections;
• Sense of ownership, take ownership of code quality through exploratory and automated tests.
• Sharing and skills development; formalize and capitalize the software testing best practices deployed on the projects

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years experience in Software testing or related roles, including leadership responsibilities
• Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering methodologies
• Strong knowledge about test management tools (e.g. Zephyr, Xray)
• Strong knowledge about defect management tools (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps)
• Strong knowledge about testing types and strategies: Unit testing | Integration testing | Functional testing (smoke, regression, UAT) | Non-functional testing (performance, security)
• Knowledgeable about testing tools (Playwright, Cypress, Karate, Gatling, k6, JMeter or similar)
• Good level of development languages (Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python)
• Proven experience of agile methodologies and agile testing implementation
