About the Role
We are looking for a driven
Business Development Specialist
to join our team. This role is key in identifying new opportunities, building meaningful client relationships, and driving enterprise sales. You will be at the forefront of introducing our software solutions to businesses, helping them solve their challenges and grow through loyalty and e-commerce innovations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify and engage potential enterprise customers/merchants.
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns, internal teams, and partners to create strong sales opportunities.
- Reach out to potential merchants through cold calls, emails, and networking; schedule and conduct presentation meetings.
- Present and consult on our suite of software solutions, identifying client pain points and recommending appropriate products/services.
- Manage enterprise sales channels with a healthy pipeline, negotiating terms and contracts to secure long-term partnerships.
- Stay up to date on market trends, competitors, and industry dynamics to adjust sales strategies effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support teams to meet client needs.
- Consolidate and share merchant feedback to improve solutions and promotions.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and ensure data integrity in CRM tools such as HubSpot.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or any related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer management preferred.
- Skilled in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across multiple channels.
- Strong ability to craft proposals, deliver presentations, handle objections, and close deals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of market trends and customer needs.
- Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales activity tracking.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and resilient in achieving targets and handling challenges.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and proposals simultaneously.
