JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing end-to-end support in human resources functions, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and onboarding. This role ensures that the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent while maintaining compliance with labor laws and fostering a positive employee experience. The HR Generalist also supports other HR functions, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, training, and policy implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Recruitment & Selection (Primary Focus)
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and define job requirements.
- Draft and post job advertisements across multiple platforms.
- Source candidates through online databases, social media, referrals, and recruitment partners.
- Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and facilitate assessment processes.
- Coordinate final interviews with hiring managers and ensure timely feedback.
- Manage offer process, prepare job offers, and negotiate employment terms in line with company policy.
- Maintain a candidate database and ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
Onboarding & Orientation (Primary Focus)
- Develop and manage a structured onboarding program to integrate new hires smoothly into the company.
- Prepare employment contracts, new hire paperwork, and pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate with IT, Admin, and relevant departments to ensure new employees have the tools and resources needed.
- Conduct HR orientation sessions to introduce company culture, policies, and benefits.
- Track and evaluate onboarding success and employee adjustment during probationary period.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Shall provide support to current ER Staff for HR-related inquiries and employee concerns.
- Assist in conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures in line with company policies.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and employee feedback mechanisms.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Assist in the administration of company benefits, government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), and loan applications.
- Conduct periodic market research to ensure competitiveness of compensation packages.
Training & Development
- Assist in facilitating employee training, workshops, and development programs.
- Track training participation and maintain employee development records.
HR Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
- Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1 year solid HR experience, with strong background in recruitment and onboarding.
- Familiarity with Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits.
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge ATS is an advantage.
- Willing to work on-site 6 days a week (9AM to 6PM), including holidays as needed
