ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our dynamic Human Resources team within a leading investment bank. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a high-performance, fast-paced corporate environment. The HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting core HR functions such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee records management, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, and eager to learn, with a strong sense of professionalism and a commitment to delivering high-quality HR support. This role provides exposure to strategic HR operations and offers a solid foundation for career growth in human resources within the financial services industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team across various functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and maintaining the applicant tracking system.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing documentation, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases in accordance with data privacy laws and internal policies.
- Prepare and manage HR documentation such as employment contracts, offer letters, memos, and reports with precision and timeliness.
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and internal HR events.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and data protection protocols are upheld in all HR-related activities.
- Perform general administrative tasks including filing, scanning, organizing digital records, calendar management, and correspondence handling.
- Support the preparation of HR reports, presentations, and analytics to aid decision-making and compliance tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of HR processes with operational needs and business goals.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial services industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; internship or part-time HR experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS is an advantage.

- Basic understanding of data privacy, cybersecurity practices, and digital collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom, SharePoint).
