The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining financial records, and performing general accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • Perform reconciliations of accounts, including bank statements, receivables, payables, and general ledger accounts.

  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Prepare and submit tax filings in compliance with local regulations.

  • Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.

  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 0-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php18,000.00 per month
