About the role

We are seeking a talented Junior Accountant to join the dynamic team at R AND F MULTI SALE AND SERVICES CORPORATION' in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional development and growth within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger entries
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis
  • Providing support in the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a junior accounting or assistant accounting role, preferably in the Accounting industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices and procedures
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar enterprise accounting software
  • Fluent in English and Filipino (both written and verbal)
