About the role

Global Elite Developers Inc. is seeking a talented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in our Socorro, Quezon City office. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial operations of our company. What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Performing general accounting duties such as maintaining ledgers, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts
  3. Conducting tax research and providing support for tax compliance and reporting
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data
  5. Providing administrative support to the accounting and finance departments as needed
  6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a junior or entry-level accounting role, preferably in the real estate or construction industry
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  7. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
