1. Patient Reception & Front Desk Management
Greet patients and visitors with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
Ensure a calm and welcoming environment, especially for patients undergoing cancer treatment
Manage patient check-ins and direct them to appropriate departments or personnel.
2. Appointment Scheduling & Coordination
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using clinic software or manual logs.
Coordinate with oncologists, nurses, and diagnostic teams to ensure timely patient flow
Handle cancellations and rescheduling with sensitivity to patient needs.
3. Communication & Call Handling
Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls to appropriate staff.
Provide clear and compassionate communication, especially for patients seeking urgent care or follow-ups
4. Records & Documentation
Maintain and update patient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012
Assist patients in completing forms and ensure accurate documentation of medical history and treatment schedules.
5. Billing & Insurance Processing
Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with PhilHealth, HMO, and private insurance claims.
Collect payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily transactions
Coordinate with billing staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of charges.
6. Coordination with Medical Staff
Relay patient concerns and updates to doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff.
Assist in preparing charts and documentation for consultations and procedures
7. Administrative Support
Manage office supplies, maintain cleanliness of the reception area, and ensure availability of patient forms and brochures.
Handle mail, faxes, and other clerical tasks to support clinic operations
8. Patient Experience & Support
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families, especially during stressful visits.
Help patients navigate the facility and understand treatment schedules and procedures
9. Compliance & Professionalism
Uphold clinic policies and procedures, including infection control and patient confidentiality.
Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
