Job Summary

The Business Development Associate supports the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and assisting in the execution of sales and partnership strategies. This role involves market research, lead generation, proposal preparation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure successful client engagement and deal execution.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and research potential clients, markets, and business opportunities.
  • Generate new leads through calls, emails, social media, and networking activities.
  • Maintain and update the sales pipeline and lead database regularly.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.

Client Relationship Management

  • Support in building and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of client requirements.
  • Assist in conducting client meetings, product demos, or presentations as needed.
  • Gather client feedback and help address concerns or service issues promptly.

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify industry trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies to reach target markets.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager or Sales Lead in achieving targets.
  • Track and report performance metrics such as lead conversions and sales outcomes.
  • Support the planning and execution of business events, client meetings, and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client relations (fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
