We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our growing construction and engineering team. This role is critical to ensuring that our housing projects, land development works, and amenities are delivered with the highest quality and in full compliance with approved standards and specifications.

About the role:

  1. Review and understand all approved plans and specifications, contracts, work schedules, BOQ/BOM, construction methodologies, and Terms of Reference (TOR).
  2. Attend and witness project kick-off meetings alongside Contractors, CMD, IAD, and the Engineering Department.
  3. Supervise and monitor construction works and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  4. Identify and prevent substandard workmanship to avoid costly reworks or reputational risks.
  5. Conduct detailed inspections during the construction process, documenting findings and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  6. Perform visual checks, report quality issues, and suggest improvements to minimize defects.
  7. Develop and improve inspection workflows and reporting systems.
  8. Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve construction issues efficiently.
  9. Escalate quality concerns and coordinate necessary corrective actions with all involved parties.
  10. Provide training and updates to stakeholders regarding inspection processes and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Licensed).

  2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in:

  3. Housing construction (Structural)

  4. Land development works
  5. Construction of amenities and special structures (e.g., ripraps, slope protection, culverts, bridges, EWT, retaining walls)
  6. Strong background in Quality Control/Assurance.
  7. Experience in Project or Construction Management is an advantage.
  8. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  9. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
