Company Overview:

Makati Life Medical Center is a modern healthcare facility committed to providing high-quality medical services supported by robust engineering and infrastructure. We are currently looking for a QA/QC Electrical Engineer to help oversee the implementation and quality of our electrical systems throughout the ongoing construction phase.

Job Description:

The QA/QC Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and systems adhere to approved designs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. This includes inspecting electrical works, verifying compliance with standards, and coordinating with contractors and consultants to address any quality-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and inspect all electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety codes.
  • Review electrical plans, riser diagrams, and single-line diagrams for accuracy and execution.
  • Ensure adherence to the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), DOH, NFPA, and relevant international standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors and site engineers to address quality issues and perform corrective actions.
  • Prepare QA/QC documentation, including inspection checklists, punch lists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Support electrical testing, commissioning, and handover documentation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC) – Required
  • Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in QA/QC or electrical site engineering.
  • Experience in hospital or healthcare facility construction is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), DOH standards, NFPA, and applicable international electrical standards.
  • Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings, riser diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
  • With a valid Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) certification – Highly Preferred
  • Electrical Safety and Grounding Seminar certificate – Preferred
  • Skilled in preparing QA/QC reports and documentation using standard tools and MS Office.

Tools & Equipment:

To facilitate reporting and coordination, a personal laptop is preferred. Necessary access to software tools and platforms will be provided.

Job Type: Project-Based

Contract length: 6 months
