Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control and Assurance
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and standards related to electrical works.
  • Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for electrical systems.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical installations, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor and record testing activities such as insulation resistance, continuity, and functional testing of electrical systems.
  • Ensure that all testing and commissioning activities are properly witnessed and documented.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection checklists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action reports.
  • Maintain quality documentation, including material submittals, test certificates, and inspection logs.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project teams regarding inspection schedules and approvals.
  • Coordination
  • Work closely with site engineers and construction teams to ensure proper implementation of approved methods and procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials meet quality standards.
  • Support the QA/QC Manager in preparing quality audits and internal inspections.
  • Compliance and Safety
  • Ensure all electrical works comply with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety inspections, and quality meetings.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in quality and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in QA/QC or electrical works in construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and testing procedures.
  • Familiar with QA/QC procedures, documentation, and ISO standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (an advantage).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
