We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Mechanical Engineer to ensure all mechanical systems installed on site are safe, efficient, and compliant with the highest industry standards.

Job Description:

The QA/QC Mechanical Engineer is responsible for inspecting and validating all mechanical installations—including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems—ensuring conformance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes. This role focuses on identifying variances, managing non-conformance reports (NCRs), and overseeing quality inspections and documentation throughout the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor mechanical works to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory codes.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams on resolving quality issues and managing corrective actions.
  • Identify process and construction variances, recommend appropriate actions, and document NCRs and punch lists.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Prepare QA/QC documentation, including ITPs, checklists, and quality reports.
  • Support quality audits and ensure timely submission of inspection records and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC) – Required
  • Minimum of 2–3 years' relevant experience in QA/QC or mechanical site engineering.
  • Experience in healthcare, hospital, or medical facility projects is a strong advantage.
  • Background in handling HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas systems.
  • Well-versed in mechanical codes and standards such as DOH, ASHRAE, NFPA, and the Philippine Mechanical Code.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel/Word, and quality tracking tools.
  • Skilled in preparing QA/QC documentation: ITPs, checklists, NCRs, and punch lists.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a commitment to quality and safety.

Tools & Equipment:

To support efficient documentation and reporting, a personal laptop is preferred. Required software access will be provided to facilitate QA/QC operations.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 6 months
