Role Overview

The International Business Development Manager will lead the company's expansion into global markets by identifying opportunities, managing new store openings, selecting franchise partners, and ensuring compliance with international regulations. The role requires a strategic, results-driven professional with strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and experience in international market growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new international markets through research and feasibility studies.
  • Lead strategies for new store openings (site selection, lease negotiation, and project management).
  • Manage franchisee selection and onboarding, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Oversee legal and regulatory compliance in international markets.
  • Develop and implement business development plans aligned with company goals.
  • Build strong relationships with franchisees, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct financial and competitive analysis to support expansion decisions.
  • Lead and mentor a small business development team.
  • Provide regular reports on performance, opportunities, and risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in international business development and franchise management.
  • Strong understanding of international regulations and cultural differences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and business tools.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
