Position Overview
To provide accurate, timely and compliant bookkeeping services that support clients' financial health and strategic decision‑making. The role emphasises quality assurance, data integrity and efficiency through the use of advanced cloud‑based tools and standardized processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Recordkeeping: Accurately input and categorise all transactions into cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite); maintain real-time books, archive documentation and ensure auditreadiness.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor actuals vs. budgets, assist with rolling forecasts and variance analysis, produce cash-flow projections and collaborate on scenario planning.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Automate bill payments, maintain vendor/supplier records, generate client invoices, track payment status and follow up on overdue accounts.
- General Ledger Management: Record journal entries and adjustments, reconcile accounts with bank and credit card statements, correct inconsistencies and prepare trial balances.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), develop dashboards to highlight KPIs and cash runway, and deliver ad-hoc analyses for leadership.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS, taxation requirements and internal SOPs; maintain data security, confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify efficiency opportunities, leverage automation tools (Hubdoc, Expensify, Dext) and participate in training initiatives to improve accuracy and reduce manual tasks.
- Client Communication & Liaison: Clarify discrepancies, provide regular updates and collaborate with client teams to align financial processes with business objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with strong command of journal entries and reconciliations.
- Extensive understanding of Australian GST
- Expertise in Xero, QuickBooks, or similar cloud accounting systems.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, AP/AR and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations.
- Excellent English communication skills; comfortable working asynchronously with international clients.
- Self-discipline and proactive attitude in remote work settings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php50, Php55,000.00 per month
