About the role

We seek a QuickBooks Online (QBO) Specialist to provide services to our company on a contract basis. The Contractor should bring strong accounting knowledge, expertise in QBO, and experience supporting U.S.-based companies. The engagement involves intercompany billing support, maintenance of accurate books and records within client-provided systems, and related accounting services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks using QuickBooks Online.
• Handle intercompany billing transactions and ensure proper reconciliations.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial reports and statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with U.S.-based teams to align on accounting standards and reporting requirements as well as acceptance criteria.
• Perform services consistent with U.S. GAAP and client-provided accounting policies.
• Recommend process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.

Competencies and Technology Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification OR 5+ years of strong professional use of QBO.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably with U.S. companies.
• Strong experience with intercompany billing and reconciliations.
• Solid understanding of U.S. accounting principles and best practices.
• Experience with other accounting tools is a plus.
• Strong written and conversational English skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Can work under pressure in fast moving environments.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with remote teams.

Contract Rate: $7–$12 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday EST schedule
