We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at University Home Lacson in our Sampaloc, Manila City office. What you'll be doing

  • Manage the end-to-end financial reporting cycle, including the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Oversee the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the integrity of financial data
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a finance manager or senior accountant role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
  • Proficient in the use of financial software and tools, such as Excel, accounting software, and data analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Certified Public Accountant is preferred
  • Amenable to work from Monday-Saturday (6x a week)
