Job Summary:
- The Marketing Manager for Gaming and Esports is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of gaming and esports marketing initiatives. This role drives brand visibility, community engagement, and sales growth by activating partnerships with publishers, tournament organizers, and esports leagues, while also working closely with in-house creative, digital, and PR teams.
- You will manage campaign calendars, oversee budgets, and ensure cohesive storytelling across digital, retail, and community channels. As the point person for gaming-related marketing, you will shape how the brand connects with gamers, delivering high-impact campaigns that strengthen brand affinity, grow communities, and generate measurable results.
Objective:
- The Marketing Manager for Gaming and Esports leads all efforts to position the brand as a top choice for gamers by creating compelling marketing campaigns, strengthening esports partnerships, and engaging gaming communities. This role focuses on delivering innovative activations, impactful content, and integrated campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development
- Design and implement marketing strategies tailored to gaming and esports audiences.
- Build integrated campaign calendars across digital, retail, and on-ground activations.
- Align brand messaging with publisher/tournament IPs to maximize visibility and relevance.
- Community Growth & Engagement
- Develop initiatives to grow and engage gaming communities both online and offline.
- Partner with Community team to activate campaigns that foster brand loyalty.
- Create reward and engagement programs tied to esports events and promotions.
- Business Development and Partnership Management
- Manage relationships with publishers, tournament organizers, and esports partners.
- Activate sponsorship rights and maximize entitlements to drive brand exposure.
- Explore collaboration opportunities with teams, talents, and other brands.
- Gaming Content & Creative Oversight
- Work with design, production, digital, and PR teams to deliver high-quality gaming content.
- Ensure campaign storytelling resonates with gamers while meeting brand and sales objectives.
- Budget & Performance Management
- Manage campaign budgets, ensuring effective use of resources for maximum ROI.
- Provide campaign performance reports and insights to management.
- Innovation & Trends
- Stay ahead of gaming and esports trends, identifying opportunities for new activations.
- Champion fresh, creative ideas to differentiate the brand in the competitive gaming space.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields
- 3–5 years experience in marketing, preferably in gaming, technology, or youth-focused brands
- Strong knowledge of the gaming and esports ecosystem (MLBB, CODM, esports, community trends)
- Proven track record of running successful marketing campaigns or partnerships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under challenging timelines
- Creative thinker with data-driven decision-making skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php60, Php80,000.00 per month
