Location: Davao City and anywhere in the Philippines

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years

Salary: 25, ,000.00

Start Date: ASAP (with 10,000.00 sign in bonus)

Position Overview

The Civil Engineer – Project In-Charge will oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring the work is executed according to plans, specifications, schedule, and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage teams and contractors effectively.

The applicants must be willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Coordination

  2. Plan, schedule, and oversee all construction activities to ensure project completion within time, cost, and quality standards.

  3. Site Supervision and Monitoring

  4. Supervise day-to-day site operations to ensure work progress aligns with the approved plans and specifications.

  5. Quality Control

· Ensure that all works are executed following approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

· Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspections and testing.

  1. Materials and Resources Management

· Monitor material requisitions and usage to prevent wastage.

· Coordinate with the procurement team for material requests and timely delivery.

5*. Budget and Cost Control*

· Monitor project expenses to ensure they are within the approved budget.

· Validate subcontractor accomplishments and progress billings.

  1. Client and Subcontractor Relations

· Serve as the main point of contact between the client, consultants, and subcontractors.

· Attend site meetings and address client concerns professionally.

· Supervise subcontractor works and ensure compliance with project requirements.

  1. Safety and Compliance

· Ensure full implementation of safety programs and compliance with government regulations.

· Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce safety protocols on-site.

  1. Project Handover

· Ensure all punch list items are completed before turnover.

· Prepare as-built drawings and documentation for project closeout.

· Coordinate final inspection and turnover with the client.

· Note: If you will be transferred to Manila or Iloilo, this task will be handle by the new PIC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required) and preferably licensed.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in construction, architectural finishing and fit-out.
  • Proven experience in project and construction management or supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, and local building codes
  • Proficiency in engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
